I guess growing old(er) isn't so horrible when we have amazing things to look forward to, like one of my oldest friends' beautiful and sweet, sweet, sweet engagement! A little quirky, a lot sweet, and 100% Phelo all the time, Phelo is a lifelong buddy, through and through. We danced on our high school dance team together and we were drawn to each others' biting sarcasm (and, obviously, indubitable charms).
One of my absolute favorite things about Phelo is her unwavering loyalty to not just her friends & family, but her passions. While the rest of us (some begrudgingly) went into tertiary to study commerce, she followed her dreams of becoming a wedding photographer. And, a damn talented one at that. Phelo eventually followed her dreams all the way up to San Francisco, where she busts her ass to be the best photographer, daughter, friend, mother of two Linda Smallz babies, fancy cook, and (now) fiance she can be.
