FLU!

Although I get my flu shot every fall, I still manage to contract at least one nasty bug each winter. The shot reduces my chances of getting influenza up to 90%, but i don't have to stop there. I can significantly improve the odds of staying healthy all winter until spring time by following a few simple rules.
First, I need to know what im up against. In addition to the flu, the average adult suffers anywhere from one to three respiratory illnesses a year, nearly all of them caused by viruses and most of them occurring in the fall and winter. Winter also tends to bring out the kind of bad habits--from overindulging at parties to letting exercise routines slide--that make the body more susceptible to infection.
The reason we get colds in winter isn't directly linked to cold weather, of course. It's that we spend more time indoors with other people and their germs. If you really wanted to make sure you never suffered another cold, you would avoid all contact with other people as well as anything they had ever touched. And you would certainly abandon those ritual handshakes and cheek pecks. Why? Respiratory viruses, including those that cause flu, are highly contagious and can survive for hours on skin, furniture, doorknobs and the like.

To a very special friend

I have been balancing trying to understand the difficulty of feelings I have for you,
Guess this did not help anyhow but hurt me it has enlightened this personality in me that I did not know of a personality which resonates regrets for not knowing I have someone like you. I can’t help but hurt about this whole thing. The hurt I have inside is not an inflicted pain, but a touching pain. The kind of hurt that brings knowledge of the amazing things in my life.

The hurt that can be healed with lots of love, care and tender only someone of your calibre can give, Someone like you is not easy to find, That is why I wish nothing but the best for you, your  friends they always tell me what an awesome friend you are ,But I really have to say It’s hard for me to understand but I am all right. you’ve got a winning style that some people never learn , If you give away a smile then you get two back in return .Then you’ll be all right

Rock journalism

Rock journalism is people who can’t write interviewing people who can’t talk for people who can’t read”. On the other hand Wikipedia talks about music journalism as a criticism and reportage about music which began in the eighteenth century as comment on what is now thought of as 'classical music'. This aspect of music journalism, today generally classified as music criticism, comprises the study, discussion, evaluation, and interpretation of music and its performance. However, I eventually came up with this opinionated authoritative information about what I think RJ’s is. Though it nearly turned me into one as well, hence the hustles I went through. This took me a couple of hours thinking about this, processing, googling but all I divulge was almost about Frank Zappa’s quotations and comments which basically was no help after all because it is just what it says on the topic. However I think Rock journalism are actually worthless people seeing that they can not do more than two things simultaneously. Zappa said that “most rock journalism is people who can’t write, interviewing people who can not talk, for people who can’t read. These are the people who write for the literate people and look for the relevant information for the right target audience. They know where exactly to find information and how they go about delving the information that they want.

List your top 200 achievements

People who are oriented towards achievement, in general, enjoy life and feel in control, being motivated keeps me dynamic and give me self-respect which help me, achieve my objectives. My best achievment is that I think all my friends and family really know that I love them. That they know they can always come ask my help, and that I will do as much as I can.

My overall in my life
primary school
secondary school/Matric /grade 12
career,
family,
kids,
friendship
to be born
able to walk
to talk
listen
hear
do things for myself
sharing
write
play
make friends
still breathing
grow
wake up
work
the list is endless

When I simulate and visualize my goals, I visualize the exact achievement of the specifics as if they have already been accomplished.

What motivate me?

The motives I have are:

I’m motivated by certain aspects of life such as learning curiosity and making a difference in other people’s lives. Every day I believe I should start something new and see outcome after
Every individual’s motives are important because they drive one to a particular path in life as it is said that if you going nowhere in particular any road will take you somewhere.

Music play an essential role in my motives (all types of music = r n b dominating though). Something about music it can be real powerful. If I hear a good song that I like it motivates me

Faith and hope motivate me that one day I will achieve my goals. Starting from zero there is nothing to lose, though I have lost some things that had value in my life but that couldn’t stop me from adventuring, I believe that everyday’s new beginnings.

Among other things that motivates me is love…. to love someone and being loved back in return really takes me to the sky, actually a motive is driven by love.

And all the successful businesswomen who started their business/es from scratch and made it to the top keep me motivated because that signifies the potential of being successful in my career endeavors. Funny enough, some of them had to start from home (in the garage) but now they have international businesses.

I HATE MONDAYS!

I have a day off at work so I tried to be super productive today.  I’ve tidied the house, swept and mopped all the floors and even managed to wash all the bathroom rugs and mats.
Later today at 15:30 my cousin (Sive) is going to take me out to the local home store to get some planting mix and plants for the patio planters.  Then after we going to go over to Waterfront so that I can buy a present for my cousin (Sive) since it is her birth day today.  I’m so blessed that she loves reading and probably she will read through this blog and find that I mentioned her born day and she is turning 13 years old today. I honestly believe that kids that love to read are just going to do better in school in general because it is not a struggle for them.
Tomorrow, I have a million little things to do on my never ending to-do list.  I need to get w/ the paperwork done for my upcoming business report.  I need to figure out the mess in the filling with the contract workers (it’s never simple with them).  Then I need to settle down and get some studying in for my upcoming state boards.  My Manager was a sweetheart for me this weekend and Saturday after she got off work we drove up to Greenpoint so she could show me where I will be going for my next meeting.  So now I know where the hotel is, the kit rental sport and the testing facility.  I’m starting to get a little nervous, but I think it will be okay. Hope this week treats me good.

VERRY DRAINED!!!!!!!!

Write a list: the 10 most unexpected consequences of being online.

I spend lot of hours online, it is not about social media but also doing research for school project, searching for jobs and checking out accommodation ads. Because of this great World Wide Web we spend so much time online. Searching and engaging seems to also come with some unexpected consequences (both bad and good).

My list of some of those consequences:
1Online banking, Transacting money through online banking have changed paying bills which could take all day to just a few minutes…

2. Getting for more information as fast as possible, and it doesn’t take much time to find it

3. Talking and catching up with friends who are in oversees, it’s like they’re just around the corner and have never left.

4. Discovering an old school buddy from primary or secondary years, brings lots of memories and you can hoop up with the person again and be friends again

5. Looking for reviews of a product or service in advance of a possible purchase – its helpful to know about other stuff experiences when taking into account of something original

6. Most of us do not receive a handwritten birthday card like before, a bit of a sentimental-I tend to hold onto these things and loved the little thoughtful notes … precious. These days… Facebook or an email seems to do the trick- its impersonal man!

7. Sometimes talking to people you don’t even know – it’s very boring because they always ask who you are. Where do you come from? etc, it happened to me via facebook.
8. Forgot your password?” … thankfully just about every site is equipped to “reset” those gazillion passwords we accumulate.
9. Freedom of expression!! – I just love the fact that I can air my views, concerns and opinions with no consideration of censorship at all

10. I believe our life spray across group of social media networks… there is no such thing as secrets and don’t even try to keep anything to yourself… if its not on your page somewhere – its on a friend’s or somewhere
